Association

The association is a national technic-scientific society and it publishes an annual book Liikenne (“Traffic and Transportation”) with scientific and professional articles in Finnish, Swedish and English. Our association is also involved in the ongoing discussions on the development of traffic and transportation planning issues on many forums on both national and EU-level.

Liikennealan tukiyhdistys ry is an association supporting the development of The Finnish Traffic and Transportation Planning Association.

The board

The society is managed by a yearly elected board. The board of 2024 is as follows:

• Dr.Soc.Sci. and docent of geography Yrjö Myllylä (Chairperson),
• Dr.Sci.Sci Kalle Toiskallio (vice-chairman, editor-in-chief of the annual book Liikenne (=Transport/Traffic),
• Bachelor of Tourism Administration Tanja von Knorring (Executive Director, secretary and treasurer),
• Lecturer Jyrki Hapulahti ja
• Doctor of Law Mika Sutela.
